- Create a team (2-3 people) and select a mascot for your team name.
- In a small group (2-3), review a pair of lesson plans using the questions below. Record your answers as a comment to this post (don't forget to link to the lesson plans you evaluated!):
- Is this a lesson plan or an activity? Explain your answer.
- Are the objectives written using the ABCD method? If not, rewrite them.
- If a student were to perform the objective, could you observe him/her demonstrating a skill or knowledge? If not, rewrite them.
- Does the lesson contain the essential parts: objectives, procedures, materials, evaluation? If not, what is missing?
- Does the lesson plan contain effective Content Learning Tasks? (see p.45 in textbook) If so, list them, if not suggest how the you would create an effective learning task for the lesson.
- Are the procedures clear? Explain your answer.
- Is technology used effectively as a learning or teaching tool? If not, how would you fix this?
